Tacos Del Gordo: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Colorado Springs

Came in for lunch whittle my sister got her nails done next door and I really enjoyed the food. I got an enchilada plate! It was fantastic and fair price for quality.

Since moving here over ate at this specific Taco Del Gordo and I'm liking it the service has been quick and the food is very on point, it like that they had s salsa bar with turnips and the jalapeño carrots. Ohh and I can't forget that they have spicy spicy salsa on the bar where normally I have to request a hotter salsa. I didn't take pictures cause as soon as I got back to my rv I straight up devoured it so yeah it's good. Highly recommend

5/5 – Absolutely Delicious! I had the pleasure of trying Tacos Del Gordo recently, and let me just say—WOW. This spot completely blew me away! I originally went in just to try the quesabirrias, and I started off with two tacos… but after the first bite, I knew that wasn’t going to be enough. I ended up ordering three more because they were that delicious. The flavor was rich and bold, the meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the crispy cheese on the tortilla gave it that perfect crunch and melt combo. Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot and fresh. The consommé on the side was packed with flavor and the perfect dip to bring the whole experience together. Honestly, it was addictive—in the best way possible. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and quick, and you can tell they take pride in the food they serve. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican street food or you're just craving some serious comfort food, Tacos Del Gordo is a must-try. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend the quesabirrias—but fair warning: two won’t be enough.

I went for breakfast and the breakfast burritos are massive. Best salsa I've had since moving to Colorado and one of the best I have ever tasted. Amazing flavor, right consistency, and perfect heat. The burrito was really good too. I'm going to have the other halve for lunch.

I had the bacon breakfast burrito and it was very good but they need to change their prices on Google because it says it was supposed to be $6.35 on Google and instead I was charged $11.80 including tax.

Wow. Delicious breakfast burritos (chorizo is our favorite) freshly made green and hot sauce and salsa, along with pickled veggies, cucumber and radish in the condiment bar. Friendly staff and great value for the money!

Extremely clean and friendly establishment! Food was delicious and my kiddos devoured the churros! Looking forward to many visits this summer! UPDATE:: I’ve been back multiple times with my kids for their huge burritos, delicious rolled tacos, and fish tacos. They have never disappointed with the crazy friendly customer service and conversation. Highly recommend coming here for some of their breakfast burritos as well!

I ordered Birria, beef tongue, fish and abo..sorry I don’t remember the name tacos. it is a big portion with price with lots of delicious meats in it. I will definitely try again next time
